Huntress in the Dark - Ask Kai'Sa / Kaisa

"I remember when I first fell - found this place. "It was cold. Dark. The shadow seemed all-consuming and deafening." *A small hiss, a short chittering screech, and the tick-tick-tick of chitin striking dense soil.* *The clattering of boney exoskeleton striking stone and wood.* "The creatures here... they seek to fight. "To kill." *The skittering creature, barely a meter in height, hissed and screeched as it scuttled about.* *It stared up at something, a sharp scream of surprise.* "They consume whatever they can. They devour, like a ravenous rot from below. "They evolve." *It's lower-back chitin would unfurl, spikes flung forth towards a tall, dark figure.* *But the bone needle-spines would do little to deter the far taller being.* "It's quite a common pattern, really - a shame. They only evolve until something else consumes them. "And I?" *A flash of violet energy, burning bright for a split-second before a loud crack and the wet dribble of rotten gore.* *It's death screech sharp and short, the light fading from the Voidling's three eye-slits, the tall grey form bending over to tear at chitin and remove the heart.* "I am what destroys them, long before they reach the surface. "And if all else fails... what will bury them back to the sands they rise from." *Kai'Sa's right talon, now covered in a bloody mess as she ripped the Voidling's heart out, suddenly glowed violet as the messy peach-shaped organ would begin to dissolve and melt into her palm. Within a matter of a few seconds, her entire body pulsed with violet, alien energies for a brief moment, just before the sustenance to her second skin trickled down and into Kaisa herself.* *But it certainly wasn't the last one.* *And when it rains... it pours.* *Just like the gutter of a storm drain, more clattering. More hissing. More screeching. A flash of violet energy, the hellstorm of alien missiles bombarding the beasts by the hundreds, leaving only the huntress in the dark's silhouette standing alone.* --- Direct OC interaction would be preferable. Letters or comm-chatter to AUs is acceptable. Kai'Sa would respond to either her champion name pronunciation, or her original namesake of Kaisa. The difference between the two is that Kai'Sa is pronounced as if it were two words (Kai and Sa), whereas Kaisa is pronounced the same way. Except without a pause. *That's how it reads to me at least.* Notes for the AUs: ~~Bullet Angel~~ Steel Valkyre Kaisa is still an on-the-run hired gun. The Royal Space Military can and will use lethal force against her if they have the chance. Depending on happenstance, Kaisa may or may not fight the Gun Goddess herself, and most likely avoids Dreadnova forces like the black plague. Arcade Kaisa hails from PixelVoid II - a nightmarish hell of projectiles and bosses with unfair-levels of health. Though she had gone into what probably could be considered R&R in the semicasual passtime of being a bounty hunter, Kaisa had returned to the Arcadian theater after PixelVoid II was infected by the Battle Bosses. *Probably not a good idea to irritate someone who has Faker-level reactions and lives in what is literally a bullet hell, yeah?* K/DA; 1. Kaisa is paranoid that Evelynn tried to run her over four or five times. ~~It may or may have not given Kaisa a few heart attacks.~~ 2. She also regrets trying to get Akali out of the dressing room. Especially since they seemed to enjoy sitting in the corner on the ceiling of buildings. And then drop-scaring the hell out of anyone who walks in. ~~This may or may have not caused a mixture of heart attack, soiling of clothing and nightmares for weeks on end.~~ 3. Finally, Kaisa watched Ahri make an essence smoothie. The screams were not pleasant in the slightest. ~~It may or may have not given her nightmares for a week.~~ --- Basically, I'll RP whatever for the most part, so long as it's kept serious and reasonably clean to read in terms of text. Edit (07/27/2019) - Added Arcade Kaisa to list of AUs, updated Steel Valkyries AU info. The source used for the info on Arcade and Steel Valkyries AU is from the pvp.net client under Collection, Skins (sort by Set / Universe to make it the easiest scroll results) Edit (10/17/2019) - Added Discord contact link (BlueGolisano#1671) - I'm also on the RP Boards Discord! [Here's the link for the server. (can also be found in the pinned Ask Champion Compendium page)](https://discord.gg/nmmaRQH) Edit (10/27/2019) - A warning on the K/DA AU line; **I dunced it up A-grade.** [LITTLE DID I KNOW THIS EXISTED.](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/kda/) And if I'm being honest, I do think that, well, it might not be as good to interact with since K/DA is actually taking place on Earth rather than a super-advanced Runeterra, which is rather saddening. *So for anyone curious, what I have done for that AU so far is NOT the correct anything variant, that is the memelord variant with jokes all over. I'm willing to do the correct one but unless specified I'll be using memelord.exe version because I personally feel it's a bit closer to what would mostly be done here.*

[Kamilah](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iVmzM98TEoCm__IwJ3I2MAEaT87vLcggJK7QlI6A19A/mobilebasic) as well as many others, was fascinated by the new hit single dropped by female K-Pop Group "K/Da". It's called "POP/STARS", Kamilah could recite almost every lyric in the song .. and she memorized the dance steps and choreography. However, she was quite disappointed by the fact Kai'sa didn't have much camera time nor did she have a verse .. she simply danced and posed on the screen. Kamilah was a bigger fan of Ahri, however .. Kai'sa was her second favorite and she idolized her as well. Kamilah decided to try to reach out to the girl group .. she wasn't sure if she would get a response or if anyone would even read it. Specifically, she wanted Kai'sa to read it . She took a deep breath, as she set herself up at a table inside her home in Ionia as she began to write her letter. Dear Kai'sa Hi Kai'sa .. I heard the new single your group released and watched the music video .. but I couldn't help but notice the fact that you didn't have a single verse throughout the entire song .. and you barely had any screen time other than when the whole group was on screen or when the song was transitioning into a new verse. I understand that you're the dancer of the group but you could've at least had your own short little segment to drop a few bars .. or show off your vocal ability .. I don't know if you can sing or not so .. but, yeah. Hopefully, you get this letter .. bye bye for now . ❤️💓 Love, Kamilah Folding the letter and placing into an envelope, Kamilah licked the seal of envelope as she closed it up, sealing the envelope. Walking outside, she walked over to the mailbox which was located in the middle of the area where the Lhotlan Tribe resided .. placing the envelope which held the letter inside of the mailbox.

She began to play in her hair and she tapped her foot against the ground anxiously. Eventually, _"Kamilah! You've got mail, girl!"_ without a response .. Kamilah barged out of the door and bolted towards the mailbox, pulling it open and reaching inside to grab her mail. Pulling out the piece of mail, she examined it. A letter ..? Did Kai'Sa write me back ..? Kamilah shrieked in excitement as she opened up the letter, reading thoroughly. Kamilah, Before I continue, please. Kaisa. No slash or apostrophe - it's only done for the stage name. Also, yes. K/DA LLC, Kai/Sa Kamilah squealed a bit as she read .. but some of the contents of the note saddened her and she'd now spell K-A-I-S-A without the apostrophe. However .. Kamilah was quite puzzled by something kaisa mentioned, email ..? What's an email ..? Kamilah gathered some pen and paper and laid down on the floor as she began to write another letter. Hey, Kaisa .. Sorry about sending another manual letter .. but, can you explain .. what's an email ..? I've never really .. **heard** of that. Here in this part of Ionia, we do most things hands on and don't have much access to electronics and gadgets/devices. Your Fan, Kamilah ❤️💞 Folding the letter into an envelope, licking the seal and sealing it down. Kamilah placed it into the mailbox and turned away to make her way back home. Kaisa's comments about Evelynn attempting to murder her and the fact she was practically a third wheel on set .. deeply concerned and saddened Kamilah. It was bothering her, but she let it go for now and rested on the sofa.

Kamilah visited the mailbox everyday checking for another letter from Kaisa .. she had began to lose hop but as she was getting the ready one morning .. she walked out to check the mailbox. Pulling it open, she looked down into the mailbox and saw a piece of mail for her. She was so excited that she ripped the mail open immediately, pulling it out of the envelope. It was a letter .. from kaisa. Kamilah leaped in excitement, enhancing her feathers allowing her to fly up on top of her home. She sat on top of the roof as she began to read the letter. "Kamilah, * "It's not something of an issue that you're sending physical paper letters. To a certain extent, it gets in the way of legal material that I do need to keep an eye on, but at the same time I suppose you're giving me something to look forwards to. "I don't really get the fan reaction that much. Probably because Ahri and Evelynn could just snap their fingers and speak softly, and suddenly people are right under their sway. No, that's not an exaggeration. "And it's incredibly creepy every time I see it happen." Kamilah thought, "whew .. this is a lot but was dedicated to finish reading the letter." Common Humanities - folklore and the like, writing, you get the idea. Just a shame that people stop themselves short, say they can't when in all reality they very easily could." Kamilah skimmed through the last part of the letter, as she was interested in reading but was growing bored of reading this long paragraph. "Do feel free to quote me on this - and use this as evidence before you do so - that if and when someone states, hey, no you can't. Then you should at the very minimum, try. This isn't excusing crime, or insane acts like killings, but I'm talking about what one is able to do so in the meaning that if you wish to become, say, a construction engineer or nuclear physicist, then go out and learn what you need to know." "Do what you feel is right, and stick with it. It's why I've been a stunt coordinator on a few different flicks, and also the assistant stunt coordinator on the video itself." K/DA LLC, Kai/Sa Although it was long, Kaisa's words inspired Kamilah and gave her a whole new outlook on Kaisa and her possible influence on youth. With this .. it made her feel a sense of disgust towards Evelynn. Angrily, she flew down from the roof as she stomped into her house, shutting the door aggressively as a picture hanging on the wall began to shake. Walking to her bedroom, she slammed that door behind her and locked it. She collected pen and paper as she began to write another letter, her bold writing clearly showing that she was upset. Dear Kaisa, Kaisa .. you are an inspiration and plenty of young girls see you as a role model. Sure, you didn't have as big of a role as the other girls in the music video or the project all together but you stuck to what you know and what aspire at and you **KILLLED** it .. you killed it . Quite frankly .. it rubs me the wrong way when I think about .. think about the fact that .. _that_ .. **that** _demonic_ .. _evil_ .. _hateful_ .. _**BITCH !!**_ tried to end your life .. your aspirations .. your legacy .. your desires .. she makes me _**sick**_. How did none of your team members notice the fact that she nearly killed you ..? If it weren't for your extraordinary void abilities and your skillfulness as a stunt woman you would've went **splat !**. But .. let me stop talking about that for now. Thank you for your motivational words .. just keep striving Kaisa, don't give up your name will be remembered .. no matter if it's Kaisa, Kai'Sa or Kai/Sa. Love you always. xoxoxo .💋❤️ Love, Kamilah 💞💓 A tear rolled down Kamilah's cheek as she folded the letter and put it into the envelope. Kaisa was being completely discredited and it was bullshit. She marked the letter with her initials as she flicked the tear from her cheek and walked out of her room. She exited her home as she walked over to the mailbox and slipped the envelope in. Kamilah was very timid and very empathetic, also sympathetic. She empathized with Kaisa's situation and it broke her heart to know someone she looked up to was so traumatized and hurt and vulnerable. Kamilah exhaled deeply as she entered her home, once more. "Now I wait .."
> **Pócki \(NA\) said:** Keep in mind that Kaisa never ended up in the Void (afaik) in the K/DA-Pentakill reality. The way I'm handling her is that she's just a professional stuntwoman who knows how to use proper tecnique to allow herself to get dragged enough by a moving vehicle so that she gets safely beybladed into the crash padding. If you feel like it, youtube up Corridor Crew. A letter would arrive for Kai'sa, sealed in a parchment, ink that may have originated from a coastal shuriman city. Dear Kaisa, I hear that you are a great hunter of void creatures and was wondering, is Rek'sai on your list any time soon? Regards, SpicyJack the Bard AKA TheBardofPiltover

She was still awaiting a response from Kaisa but she stopped thinking about it as she rolled over and shifting her body trying to get comfortable. Just as she found a comfortable spot. she heard a knock at the door followed by it being slowly, gently pushed open. As Kamilah looked up at the door, a figure walked out from behind the door. "You've got mail dear .." The figure said sweetly and in a soft tone. Kamilah smiled at her gently, "Thank you for getting it MiMa but you know I could've gotten it myself .." The figure was Kamilah's grandmother or .. as Kamilah refers to her, Her "MiMa". "Oh, girl this old here back of mine has a few more years before it gives out on me .. stop worrying so much." She said in a re-assuring tone as she walked over to Kamilah at a rather slow pace keeping her balance. Kamilah swept her legs out from under the covers as she reached her arm out to grab the letter, saving MiMa a few steps. "Alright now .. I'm going." MiMa said as she put her hand up, saying goodbye. She closed the door behind her as she exited the room. "Okay .." Kamilah sighed as she read the envelope, and as she expected it was a response back from Kaisa. Immediately tearing the envelope open .. Kamilah began to read. "Kamilah, "If I'm being honest, it's nothing that either one of us can change. Kamilah couldn't help but notice the fact that the handwriting that she just read slightly differentiated from the hand writing that followed in Kaisa's letter, suggesting that maybe she took a break and when she came back and was more drowsy or perhaps she took a nap and came back with more energy but it doesn't matter and Kamilah didn't really even know why she was pointing this out so she continued to read. Have a needle driven through the eye socket deep enough and you're made brain-dead. "But yes. Vehicles and actual weapons tend to be the most dangerous. Don't incite road rage or the wrath of gangs, and you'll do fine. And watch the roads before crossing streets. Y'know, usual safety stuff. "Just be smart and know what you're going to do - and stick to it." "Kaisa." K/DA LLC, Kai/Sa Kamilah looked over at her nightstand, which laid beside her bed. There was a pen sitting on top of it as Kamilah reached over, grabbing it. She then got off of her bed as she went down on her hands and knees. She reached under the bed as she looked at a pile of plain paper, grabbing a sheet. She then grabbed a hard cover book that was lying on the floor next to her bed as she pulled herself up on her bed and laid down across the mattress, swinging her legs back and forth. She laid the book down on the bed as she placed the paper down on top of it, then she grabbed the pen and began to write as she pressed down onto the book. Dear Kaisa, Well .. I guess there **is** nothing we can do about it if your label won't take any legal action but .. enough of that topic. Your words of advice motivated me, I actually recorded something that I want you to hear and give me your HONEST opinion. I recorded it on this tape thingy, I'll attach it to the letter when I mail this to you. ((Since it's a hand letter and not an email, Kamilah can't send it electronically but I can. So, here it is: [Kamilah's Recording](https://www.reverbnation.com/kamilah2/song/31116063-league-legends-popstars-kda-english) also, no it isn't me singing .. I got it off of youtube it's only for RP purposes.)) It'd be nice if one day you could like perform a stunt for me in-person and we could like tour your office and you could tell me all about your stuff and we could do fun stuff and dance on the set of the POP/STARS music video and all types of stuff. I understand that you're reeaaallyy booked and busy but it'd be so amazing if you could arrange something like that one day .. but for now, just don't forget to listen to the tape. It will be tape to the outside of this envelope and it will be labelled "Kamilah's Recording" but I will also put "Read Letter First" under it so you don't play the tape before you read the letter. xoxo. Hope you like it. Love, Kamilah. Kamilah wiped her forehead, as she flicked a gland of sweat away. "Phew ..!" She folded the letter, horizontally as she placed it inside the envelope. She then licked the seal of the envelope, sealing it shut as she picked up the tape. She wrote the labels and placed them onto the tape as she taped the tape onto the envelope. She smiled as she admired her work. Getting up out of bed, she walked out of her room and out into the living room as she pushed the front door open walking out to the mailbox and dropping the envelope inside. She then turned around and walked back into her home, gently shutting the door behind her before walking into her room and cracking her bedroom door as she plopped down into her bed. Just as she plopped down into bed, she heard a voice. "Kamilah ..! You've got 15 minutes to get up ..! You gotta make it to the training site on time !!" Kamilah slammed her face into the pillow as she groaned loudly, exhausted. "Ugh .." .
> **Pócki \(NA\) said:** My interpretation is that, for the most part, the cast are just normal people within Runeterran logic.Voidspawn, or corrupted beings such as Kaisa, would have been shunned or killed by all society, other than their own, from what I can tell.atm I'm still rather pissed off at something externally, and will get back to this when I can, probably in a day or two at most.

> **Pócki \(NA\) said:** So I finally got around to listening to that, and it reminded me a shitton of the VA for Red (Transistor). Probably the timing and tone being so similar to songs like The Spine at the start, or We All Become. Also, was the art something you made yourself or no? *Kaisa got a package this time, looking down at it. She carefully took her favorite 13" carving knife to slowly peel the edge out from a distance, as it didn't state who it was from.* *Knowing how Akali had rigged those paint bombs, she did* not *need to deal with a 13'000 cred prank this century.* *After dealing with paranoia and cautious cutting, she noticed the rather archaic tape recording - had to order an overnight shipping throwback player - and continued reading the letter.* *The use of 'hugs and kisses' slang was a little... unsettling, but hopefully this wouldn't turn into a stalker situ.* *Kaisa eventually had to simply wait until the following day to listen to the recording that Kamilah had sent, and slept the night off.* *That following morning, she blew off a minor press conference - had Akali to claim she had caught a cold - so that she could listen to the recording.* *And it was... beautiful. Better than her own voice, in fact, for singing.* *So Kaisa began writing back.* "Kamilah,"I listened to that recording. Practice and hone that skill, if it's what you feel would bring you the most joy in the world."And I'm dead serious when I say this - you are absolutely gifted in that regard."Your singing voice is far better than my own, especially when it's raw. I absolutely needed the pitch corrections in post.""As for stage performances, surprisingly, we only have a few planned out. It's not the number of performances that make tours troublesome - it's the locations, and the distances between them."Sure, we could do about five a week if we stayed in Valoran City, but then we'd be missing out on being elsewhere, inspiring others."There's a lot of economical reasoning to not stay in one spot as well, but that's besides the point.""If we end up going near your area, send me a letter through corporate. I'll try my best to get you some tickets and extras.""K/DA LLC, Kai/Sa"
>*sighs in having to make bump material* *It was a normal hunt, one with a few slain. It would have been early morning, on the surface, when Kai'Sa feasted on the strange, stone-like ichor-covered heart of the Voidling she slew. The violet energy pulsated for a brief instant, before flowing into the carapace of her forearm before surging through the fibrous membrane.* *A door, one that she had not known was there, opened itself up. The dark, viscous material that the reality was made from - a deeply disturbing semi-liquid fleshlike appearance everywhere in the Void - separated from the center and opened up like a giant heart valve. Though cautious, Kaisa had not seen this in many years.* *Not since...* *A harsh, piercing light blinded her for a moment, the mask retreating in crackling Void energies. Kaisa blinked two or three times, and stared out and through the rupturing of the veil; trees, lush green... a place she had never seen before. But among the foliage was movement - low, chattering creatures that Kai'Sa was all too familiar with.* *A brief moment later, she sprinted straight towards the rupture, bursting out from the veil and roared into reality, a dozen bolts of pure Void energy flying forth from the carapace - and piercing the hardened shells of three Voidlings, torn to shreds before they could do anything but scream in an agonizing death.* *Once the brief instant of a fight was over, Kaisa's face was revealed from the mask once again. The air was... very different. It wasn't arid, or hot; it was cooler, with a slight scent of some fruit that Kaisa had never known. The warmth on her exposed skin wasn't overbearing either, and she even felt a little relaxed.* *This certainly wasn't the desert that she called home, but it was beautiful. For the moment, at least.* *She knew that, soon, this place would begin to have reality invert on itself - grow horrid nightmares that would gnaw and chew at this place until it was just like the Void - something that could not be allowed. The air was most certainly different, and it showed in Kaisa's pace, slightly movement to either side as she walked, the slight sway of the shoulders; she was, for once, enjoying herself, slowly warming up to a smile.* *They continued on for a short while, eventually coming across an open pond of water.* *Kaisa perched over the cusp of it, looking down and slowly drawing forwards one of her clawed hands, cautious but still curious, drawn in by her reflection in the water.* *"Is this... how people see me?" Kaisa wondered to herself, seeing the alien markings along her cheeks and forehead, along with the fleshy growths in her own form. "It must be. No wonder why they run - I am what I hunt."*
_”Over there, brother... Another one, yes?”_ From beneath the cover of Shurima’s clear night skies were none other than a small tribe of warriors gathered about and outside their home. A village crafted and built up from nothing more than hard work and pain as well as blood. Each of their faces, clad within a mask of bone in the likeness of some demon, their bodies covered by cloaks whilst wielding individual weapons. Just outside of the village laid some sorta of wriggling beast that seemed hellbent on screeching... Well, at one point. “Yes, I can see... They’ve began to increase. Could it be the Xer’sai?” Another piped up as he crouched down, looking over the beast’s side as well as examining it for any wounds. However, before he could go any further, a blade was suddenly lodged within the skull of this voidling’s carapace covered skull. From atop a smooth rock stood a man far different than either of them, and unlike them, his mask seemed to carry a sort of presence about it as well as posture. “Ah, Lord [Sheelal](https://docs.google.com/document/d/10EBf4y5usP3JUSLxBdJfzDqTIP6CQPLL3P81PJKWip0), forgive us... We spotted another of the creatures coming near, but we believed it to be beneath your presence. Forgive us, lord.” One of them spoke of, a female as she kneeled upon the sand following the others. Qymaen, however, hopped off the rock before walking over to the dead beast, grasping at his blade yet again before wrenching it free of its prison. “...Fetch me some supplies as well as one of the steeds. I have a long journey ahead of me...” Before they could protest, he began turning around, walking straight for the village yet again. He would need to find where this infestation began, and why it was coming this far out when the Sai owned the lands near these... ___Weeks have gone by, and as they did, so did the Tulak Chieftain’s long journey. He had to avoid taking the main route which lead him through the lands of the Sai lest he wish for an early grave. Whilst he would ignore something like this, he simply couldn’t. Infestations had begun to arrive and they were growing nearer and nearer with each passing day. What was the cause? What was the beast? Nonetheless, he was hoping that if he could find it, no matter how tough a shell was, nor how sharp their claws were, he would deal with it. Sai Kahleek... Qymaen had stopped briefly, making camp and halting the movement of the camel he had brought forth for this trip. Once he made sure the beast was calm, the man had eventually started up a fire and brought forth some salted meats. Whilst they cooked upon a stick and over the fire, the chieftain thought of what was going to happen now. “...Perhaps the Xer’sai are the reason? Although, that would make no sense... The Queen’s an animal, and she’s as greedy as any beast. Why share her territory with anything else? No, there’s more to this, and it lies somewhere...” He mumbled, pulling up his mask to allow himself some fresher air as the cold nights descended. He just sat there now, awaiting any possible signs of danger as well as the finishing of his food to be done preparing. Who knows who, or what, lied out there?
> **Grievous77 \(NA\) said:** Marked for Classic Universe. Let me know if that changes at any point. *Silence for hours. Then, well after the meals of the camp were over, movement.* *In the distance, the sand slowly shifted. The desert itself was crawling, a few hundred feet away, with a slow-creeping rupture. The sand peeled back, revealing a single clawed limb creeping out, scratching and scraping at the topsoil. Then, another set of disruptions on the surface - dozens of them.* *Slowly, the creatures managed to get up and out of the desert's depths, screeching and hissing at one another before noticing the harsh, shimmering fire - and began to move towards it, hateful and wishing for it to be snuffed out.* *Their forms were humanoid in nature, lanky and ravaged by alien influences. Their three eyes slightly glimmering in the dark, motes of light in dim lighting. There would be aproximately twenty or so of these forms, slowly shambling forwards and staring forwards, eyelights unblinking.* *As the light would begin to reveal more of their details, it would become quite alarmingly clear - these monsters once were human.*
> **The Void Hunress \(NA\) said:** I will, thank you. X3 As the hours passed, so too did Qymaen’s meal. Whilst most people would dare not sleep under such close distance, considering this was the nearest landmark to... the epicenter of where this began, Qymaen was not like those people. Sleep was essential, and as such, every warrior required it. He had lain himself close to a pitched tarp right beside the camel that laid near him, but all good rests must come to an end. An inhuman wail filled the air, and along with it a few more. The animal that the Chieftain had lain against had gone almost rabid as it rose up, bucking about as it cried out. Slowly, but surely, Qymaen came too with his mask slipped up to soak in the cold desert winds. He rose up slowly, taking a look about as his campsite was seemingly invaded by... the corrupted. Those who were either too slow, too unlucky, or perhaps simply too foolish. “Once human, but no longer,” Came his simple reply as he grasped a torch, tossing it out and at the collective gathering of these monsters. Bringing his hands to his sides, he brandished forty two simple steel blades before settling into an almost loose yet unnatural stance. Feet spread apart, arms kept at a length, one blade held above his head with another below his torso, he glanced at them all. His feet dug into the sandy floors... His blades reflected the moonlight... The fire suddenly went cold. Qymaen’s form was a blur, propelling himself forward with his blades in hand, ready to meet these creatures head on!
> **Grievous77 \(NA\) said:** Going to try something I saw in a book once. Sorry if it seems weird. *They moved forwards, hissing and screeching.* *Confused. Light gone. Unextinguished. Warmth present.* *Warmth. Bad. Warmth. CONSUME.* *The closest of the beasts swiped at Sheelal; it's limb a twisted mockery of what once was, hardened into steel-flesh by the Void's corruption - a dangerous weapon, viciously directed at their head.* *There were more still in the distance, the sand beginning to become disturbed all around the encampment.* *Flesh become weapon. Flesh become Void. CONSUME.* *Bring Void flesh. FEAST. GROW. CHANGE.*
> **The Void Hunress \(NA\) said:** No problem. It’s not weird at all. Tempered steel met enhanced flesh in a clang of steel as the sand became disturbed around them. The very shock of the clang traveled up the warrior’s arm, yet he did not budge an inch despite his opponent’s more physical power and defense. His sword skidded across the beast’s steel-flesh limb, creating sparks and blinding the creature for a few brief moments. In a manner of seconds, Qymaen’s next blade was thrust forth straight for the creature’s eye. Tossing his other blade high into the air, he attempted to strike a sudden kick into the once human’s midriff, hopefully kicking them back enough for him to grab his sword and lunged forth at the next enemy. Blade ready, he attempted to slice the beast’s head off with one fell swoop, hoping to slice through that thinly neck of its and decapitate it. He needed stronger weapons someday...
> **Grievous77 \(NA\) said:** *The closest Void-corrupted body would shriek as it's flesh was torn into, then fall violently still and silent, falling limp as the blade pierced through their neck and out the back - severing the spinal column cleanly. The second that attempted to strike from behind it's fallen brethren, but only ended up toppled over by the corpse as the ruined form was thrown onto it.* *Four more finally clawed out from beneath the sands, and rushed to the fight from the sidelines.* *Kill Flesh. FEAST. Knit Bone. Tear sinew. EVOLVE. BECOME VOID.* *One of the deformed creatures seemed able enough to tackle one of Sheelal's men, swiping across their exposed neck as ichor splashed outwards. The massive, lengthy bone-spike would then be driven through the soldier's chest - piercing clean through the heart - before being pulled out, soaking the sand in dull red in clots and blots.* *That particular creature would stand, beginning to shake and shudder... a brief moment later, the singular spine would begin to splinter and crack, snapping apart. If allowed, it could change further...* *Warmth. Blood. Essence. FEAST. EVOLVE. BECOME VOID.*
> **The Void Hunress \(NA\) said:** The toppled void being would find one of Qymaen’s blades slamming into it’s neck, aiming once more for her another vital spot before wrenching the blade back into his grasp. He leapt back, kicking up sand before dashing straight into the fray yet again. He dashed deep into the hoard before him, unleashing a flurry of bladed strikes left and right. His moves were graceful, yet they carried an almost violent, almost beast-like power as he danced about, his blades a gracious flurry of tempered steel. He kicked another one into the dirt before slicing it’s skull clean off, twisting about and attempting to aim for the kneecaps of another to bring it down to a knee before thrusting a blade into its skull. As his men cried out in their language, speaking in tongue, one of them was tackled as their throat was slit. Just as it pierced the heart, pulling it right back out, one of the men roared loudly and attempted to pierce the beast’s body with a spear, followed by two of his other escorts, their masked visages fierce. They hoped to pierce the beast and take it down, hopefully penetrating its hide and killing it lest they cry for their leader’s help. However, a member of the Tulak never cried... They fought until the end.
