A lot of champions are immobile and strong. Mobile champions sacrifice power so they can have their gap closers. While there can be some abusers, its just a matter of nerfing them individualy.
There are only few unplayable champions for me and their problem is not the lack of mobility.
I could point out just as many immobile champions that are strong{{champion:96}}{{champion:412}} {{champion:134}} {{champion:143}} {{champion:101}} {{champion:75}} {{champion:110}} {{champion:68}} {{champion:29}}
There are really strong counters to mobility called cc and superior damage. If a champion has everything, its an issue with this individual champion, not with the mobility creep
pretty much this.

Well, for one thing.
Your second example is Thresh. Thresh, who has a low CD flash built into his already strong Q, and a W that on top of being vision and an AOE shield, teleports an ally instantly to thresh from an absurd range. Thresh is one of the most mobile champs there is.
Twitch you list though he has a long speed boost tied to his Q's invisibility.
Zyra Nasus and Varus are not competitively viable.
The only truly immobile champs considered competitively viable at this point are as follows:
Xerath. Syndra. Kog'maw. Morgana.
Compared to the rest of the pool of:
Lee Sin Elise Evelynn Braum Kassadin Jax Renekton Riven Shyvana Mundo Orianna Ziggs Twisted Fate Nocturne Jarvan Tristiana Caitlyn Lucian Yasuo Khazix Rengar Thresh Leona Nami Fizz Kayle Fiddlesticks Corki
And it's not looking great for immobile champs
>Zyra not competitively viable.
She's not pick or ban tier, but she still sees competitive play off and on in various regions, she's viable, just niche pick maybe.

True. Support seems like the role where mobility is least vital. But to date there are only three REALLY mobile supports-and guess which ones are the top of the heap?
The bias is strong with this one.
First off, Thresh's mobility is packed into Q and is really situational. But if you want to be nitpicky, go on, just dont say that his latern gives him mobility.
Twich is exacly the same, his mobility is very limited and situational.
Zyra and Varus are perfectly viable in pro play.
Mobility doesnt make the champion overpowered on its own. Ex Udyr and Hecarim not being picked (unlike Varus and Zyra). A champion's mobility is a problem ONLY if he has many other features going for him. I could go on and list them for each champion you mentioned, but I'm sure its not needed.
